We are a private agency who assists individuals to apply for a visa B1B2 and schedule the appointment for the consular interview. We are not affiliated or endorsed by the U.S. Government, nor do we provide legal advice, but we bring travelers specialized support about the application process for a private fee.
To obtain the B1/B2 authorization in Colombia, most applicants must attend an appointment at the U.S. embassy for their interview.
Among the requirements to obtain your authorization, you will need a recent photograph and you will have to fill out the DS-160 form with your personal information. At Conoceus.com you will have support and assistance at every step.
All applicants will have to have their fingerprints taken digitally before the interview at the same embassy. The electronic procedure takes only a few seconds, does not use ink and is carried out the same day of the interview.
In most cases, children under 14 years of age, adults over 80 years of age and people who already had an authorization of the same category that expired in the last 48 months can request their authorization without having to go through an interview. They can also send or leave their documentation directly at the embassy.
On the day of your interview at the embassy, you can go to the following address:
United States Embassy in Colombia
Carrera 45 No. 24B-27,
Bogotá, D.C. Colombia
The appointment for your fingerprinting will be at one of the Visa Application Centers (VAC) located at the following addresses:

The tourism authorization and the business authorization are considered non-immigrant authorizations and are used to visit the United States for short periods.
To obtain the tourism authorization (B2) or the business authorization (B1) the same process is followed. The only difference is the purpose of the trip:
A B1/B2 authorization can be requested for trips in which the purposes are both tourism and business.
The B1 and B2 authorization is not valid to obtain employment in the United States of America.
